Trix is the kind everyone looks for, and few actually find. She stands a true 15 hands with the substance to carry a variety of riders comfortably, and she does it in style — four high white socks, a bald face, black eyeliner, and bright blue eyes that make her impossible to miss. Trix has been started right with no skipped steps. She is broke the way one should be with a solid reining foundation— beautiful walk-to-lope transitions, correct spins and sliding stops, she rides soft in the face, moves off leg and seat with ease, and neck reins lightly one-handed. Trix is sensitive in a good way—light, responsive, and wants to please. She is started on barrels and is currently loping a gorgeous barrel pattern with natural rate and athleticism. She has the foundation to make a competitive barrel horse, go back to reining, or step into ranch versatility, reined cow horse, sorting, roping, or whatever direction you would like to take her. 

On top of her skills, Trix has a great disposition. In the barn and pasture, she’s good-minded and gentle: easy to catch, not marish, and gets along well in a herd environment. She loves attention, and is good to shoe, haul, saddle, and handle. Trix has been ridden by riders as young as 10, and while she is not suitable for a beginner due to her age and responsiveness, she has all the qualities to mature into a wonderful family horse with time and consistency. Trix is sound, sane, and easy to be around.
